Lately, I have begun using actors as inspiration for the physical characteristics on my hero and heroine. This helps the art department get it right and helps me keep track of descriptions while writing a series. Who did I use for Adirondack Attack?
For the second book in this series, I chose a big man whose size, in the wilderness, would prove both an advantage and disadvantage, depending on the situation. For the woman, I wanted someone who looked tough enough to rappel down a cliff to reach an injured pilot and rescue her husband when circumstances called for it.
For my upcoming Intrigue, Adirondack Attack, my inspirations were actors Jason Momoa (beardless) and Bethany Joy Lenz.

How do you think the art department did on the cover?
