Conference Prep for Bouchercon

CLOTHES:
Of course there are the physical outfits you need to back and that emergency outfit that you need in case of a event including marinara or red wine. But what other goodies to I tote with me?

Hopefully they will look better and less wrinkly on!

This trip, the books are there and going into conferences bags (fingers-crossed), so I have only a small bit of swag. Swag is promotional items given to readers. In this case, it's coasters. I don't know if my readers will like them, but I LOVE them!

SNACKS:
I have some for the room and some to tote with me on the days that I just know I will miss lunch!

TECH:
I always carry a portable cell charger and keep a travel charger in the hotel room. I also stay connected with my mobile phone and pack a netbook which give me light easy word processing and a longer charge than my laptop. Now how did I take a photo of my cell phone without my cell phone, you ask? Ah-ha! It's my husband's phone, borrowed for this all important (not very) shot!

LOW TECH:
Notebooks, pens, highlighter, smaller notebooks, smallest notebook and an envelope to keep all those pesky recepts collected.
